It opens on November 20 at 10:00 am at the Pietro Canonica Museum in the Villa Borghese in Rome, the exhibition Le case della memoria italiane e ungheresi: una risorsa condivisa per la cultura/Hungarian and Italian Memorial Houses: a shared resource for culture/Magyar és olasz emlékházak: kultúráink közös kincse, organized on the occasion of the Year for cultural relations Italy - Hungary. The exhibition will be exhibited in Italy and Hungary and it is made from a collaboration between the National Historic Homes Association “Associazione Nazionale Case della Memoria, the Petőfi Literary Museum in Budapest and the Hungarian Literary Memorial Houses Association. The Hungarian ambassador in Italy János Balla has confirmed his presence at the opening ceremony. The exhibition is edited jointly by Adriano Rigoli, President of the National Houses of Memory , and Csilla E. Csorba, General Director of the Petőfi Literary Museum of Budapest. The theme of the exhibition is the network of Italian house-museums of famous people which now has 39 homes in 8 Italian regions. The Hungarian colleagues have chosen 17 historic house museums in their country that are part of their Hungarian Literary Memorial Houses Association. The project stems from the relations of friendship and international cooperation that were born in the context of ICOM (International Council of Museums), and in particular the thematic Committee ICLM (International Committee for Literary Museums and Composers). After the stop in Florence and Rome, the exhibition will be hosted at the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari in Modena, the Geophysical Observatory Bendandi in Faenza, the Enrico Caruso Museum in Lastra a Signa, on the hills around Florence, and in Hungary (in Budapest at the Petőfi Literary Museum, at the Memorial House of the writer Mór Jókai in Balatonfüred, at the Memorial House of the writer Sándor Petőfi in Kiskőrős) .
